High rate filtration of liquids in production plants and for enviromental applications

The TRF - Filtration System achieves very high tanegntila \"cross flow\" rates, up to 20 m/s. This prevents the building of a cake layer. The micro and ultra-pores will stay open for high filtration capacity and exact cross cut. The system can be adjusted exactly to the requirements. Filtration pressure and cross flow rate can be controlled separately.

The high rate of turbulence of the TRF-system is the result of movement (counterrotation) of filter modules inside the vessel. The filter membranes are mounted on plastic disks which are fixed, forming rotating stacks.

The TRF-Filtration system offers several advantages compared to conventional cross flow filtration systems:

• nearly no blinding of the membranes
• filtration from outside to inside
• constant fluxrate
• suitable for a wide range of viscosity
• Filtration without additives
• Minimum maintenance and operator attention required
